Walnut Hill Homestead is located on a hillside in New Tazewell, TN. Established in 2020 by Helina and her two boys, the quaint, 2 acre homestead is always bustling with activity. The trio dabble in a little bit of everything while they live life to the fullest. Helina homeschools her two boys while running a home canning business and teaching the boys how to enjoy the little things in life. You can find them selling produce for a neighboring farm, alongside their homestead goods, at the Union County Farmer’s market during the summer. In the off season, they stay busy on the homestead and in the kitchen, curating new recipes, and creating herbal remedies together. The family loves cooking together and staying connected to their Native American roots by foraging and learning to work with native plants. Together, they make everything from teas to tinctures, to help promote healthy living. They sell a wide range of homemade goods, but are most known for their salsa and seasoned tortilla chips.
